I’ve always felt a deep connection to the ocean, the rhythm of the waves, and the raw beauty of the natural world. My journey began with studies in Environmental Studies and Visual Arts—fields that allowed me to explore and express my fascination with nature’s intricate systems and timeless wonders. That foundation continues to shape my perspective, even as I’ve transitioned into the world of Interior Design. Though it may seem like a departure, my approach to design remains rooted in storytelling—creating spaces that reflect personal journeys, lived experiences, and the natural elements that inspire us. For me, design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about honoring the environment, the individual, and the stories that shape us both.

Founder & Principal Designer, RIDQC
Coburn Designs is an interior design studio founded by Caitlin White, Principal Designer, RIDQC. Caitlin received a certificate of graduation from New York Institute of Art & Design and has over seven years of experience in the high-end residential interior design industry. Through her work with various design studios and architectural firms, she has gained extensive knowledge, confidence in her craft, and a thorough understanding of effective processes.
In design, we strive to create harmony between architecture and interiors—spaces that are purposeful, structured, and deeply comfortable. The philosophy is consistent across projects: design in response to place and people, not bound to a single style or era. The aim is always a thoughtful balance between tradition and modernity, beauty and function.

Caitlin also has a passion for upcycling vintage furniture finds. She loves being creatively creative. Being a hands-on artist gives her a true appreciation for quality craftmanship. Flipping furniture requires tedious effort, dedication, drive and imagination all of which apply to the world of interior design.
